Mutewatch
AVANT-GARDE
TIMEPIECE

Mutewatch was created as a silent, vibrating alarm—years before the Apple Watch. As Art Director, I helped craft its minimalist identity, blending Scandinavian simplicity with advanced tech. By the time of its launch, Mutewatch had generated global buzz, with endorsements from Lady Gaga and Swedish House Mafia. It sold in over 100 stores worldwide, including Selfridges and Maxfield. A surreal moment came when Steve Wozniak appeared in our order system and was later spotted wearing Mutewatch in a BBC interview—proof of its success. As a small startup, Mutewatch was personally presented to key retailers, with Colette in Paris being the first to stock it. Early press coverage and tech blog mentions sparked excitement and pre-orders. Through strategic branding and positioning, Mutewatch became a globally recognized product, demonstrating how strong design and storytelling can turn a startup idea into a success.
